ABOUT ME

While I do not go anywhere without my camera, I do have other interests alongside my passion for photography. Helping other people has always been an important endeavour to me by taking on different roles and tasks. I have worked in as diverse places as the ones I have captured on film, and later on memory cards.

I participated in Brutus Östling's workshop in Lauvsnes, Norway to learn more about how to capture the perfect images. I can wholeheartedly recommend going to workshops if you are an aspiring photographer, because you will learn so much and make valuable connections with others who share the same passion.

TASKS I HAVE DONE

  • Acting chair of Sweden Chapter of the Explorers Club
  • Relief manager at Ndutu Safari Lodge, Tanzania
  • Consultative tasks in Ngorongoro Conservation Area, Tanzania
  • Guiding in Longyearbyn surroundings at Svalbard

GUIDED TOURS & LECTURES

I have previously done guided tours on request to northern Tanzania, Greenland and Svalbard. On these tours I shared the experience I acquired from my own journeys to Svalbard, Lofoten, Antarctica, South Georgia Islands, Tanzania's Serengeti and Ngorongoro Conservative Area. I have also held lectures about my family's rich polar and research history.

It was a great joy to offer these tours to others and to help them discover new amazing places.
